State launches public waitlist dashboard for Innovations Waiver to improve transparency

The Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Use Services announced a new Innovations Waiver waitlist dashboard designed to increase transparency about who is on the waiver waiting list and where they live. Kelly Crosby, director, said the dashboard—developed with LME‑MCO partners and Medicaid—will display county‑level waitlist information and metrics such as the share of people on the waiting list receiving services.
Crosby said the dashboard is intended both for transparency and to help the division and partners learn where outreach and service development are most needed. She invited stakeholders to a webinar the next day that will walk users through the dashboard and demonstrate features such as filtering by plan and viewing whether people on the waitlist are receiving services.
The division emphasized the dashboard is an initial release and that additional data and analyses are planned. The presentation stressed that a waiver slot is only one part of support for people on the waitlist and that the dashboard will inform broader strategies to connect members to services.
Crosby said the webinar demonstrating the dashboard will be recorded and posted. She encouraged providers, families and partners to join and to use the tool as part of ongoing planning and outreach.
