Staff explained that Rural Preservation requires one acre per dwelling while the Residential district requires a half‑acre per dwelling and that the applicant met lot area and setback requirements; the second mobile home would be a conditional use and must meet septic permit rules (DES approval). Commissioners raised no objections and voted to adopt the staff recommendation to change the zoning map for the parcel in question.
The change allows the parcel to qualify for two dwelling units under the Residential district’s standards, subject to required permits and conditions.
