Town Administrator Aitken told the Town Council on Oct. 8 that staff and Director Edwards had discussed a parcel on East Forest with a surveyor and outlined options for the property’s future. The council scheduled a decision for the regular November meeting and the mayor asked the town engineer to provide an opinion on the site’s buildability before that vote.
Why it matters: Council decisions about town-owned or adjacent properties can affect land use, development and local infrastructure. Council members directed staff to obtain technical review ahead of taking a formal vote.
Council action and timetable: No vote occurred during the work session. The council will consider the engineer’s assessment and is expected to act during the November regular meeting.
