The results formalize leadership for the board’s upcoming year and place Purvis and Baker in charge of presiding over regular meetings and committee assignments. Agenda and consent items for the evening were approved without amendment earlier in the meeting by voice vote.
“Thank you, Dr. White. I appreciate the board’s confidence in me for this important role,” Purvis said after taking the chair.
The board announced its next regular meeting will be held Jan. 12. No contested nominations or roll‑call vote tallies by individual member name were recorded in the public portion of the transcript.
