"If we ordered that, if you all approve us to get that with this reserve money, I order it tomorrow. It'll be here the December 1," S7 said.
After brief discussion about procurement and timing, a motion to approve the purchase using reserve funds was seconded and approved by voice vote. Council members discussed that some of the funding would come from previously unspent budgeted amounts rather than the current year's budget and confirmed staff would handle ordering and installation logistics.
The purchase was authorized; staff will proceed with procurement and installation planning to have the display ready for the December season.
