Walton council approves budget amendment, awards park shelter and road-restriping contracts

The council then reviewed bids for Walton Park Shelter 1. Council member Dan Martin moved to award the bid to Reliable Outdoor Services; Council member Caleb Flege seconded. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with Dan Martin, Caleb Flege, Sherry Gaskill and Rose Beach voting yes.
On a separate procurement item, council reviewed bids for city road restriping and Council member Dan Martin moved to award the work to Central Seal; Council member Sherry Gaskill seconded. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with Dan Martin, Caleb Flege, Sherry Gaskill and Rose Beach voting yes.
