Chesapeake City council approves routine minutes, State Police contract and sanitation addendum
Summary
On June 8 the council approved prior meeting minutes, renewed its State Police contract with a small hourly-rate increase, and approved a third addendum to the Corey Sanitation Solutions collection contract; all motions carried "All in favor."
At the start of the June 8 meeting the council approved minutes for an April 13 closed meeting, the May 11 meeting and a May 27 workshop. Approvals were made by motion and each was recorded as carried.
The council then approved the annual State Police contract, which includes a small increase to the hourly rate. Lee Adams moved the contract approval; Rick Webster seconded and the motion was recorded as carried.
Council also voted to approve a third addendum to the municipal waste, yard waste and recycling collection contract with Corey Sanitation Solutions. Meeting minutes note the addendum follows the rate terms set in the original contract.
Procedural votes and contract approvals were taken by motion with no recorded dissent in the meeting minutes. The meeting adjourned at 7:51 p.m.
