New Providence secures design funding for Safe Routes, seeks nearly $700K for Central Avenue; multiple capital contracts presented

Engineering also discussed engaging Colliers for professional services on the DPW building replacement due‑diligence and presented a proposed HVAC contract with Train North Jersey for municipal building upgrades not to exceed $1,027,560, with staff exploring a 0% interest five‑year financing option.
Library and EMS building roof repair contracts (using Bergen County cooperative pricing) were also presented, including a $35,940 repair for the library and a $53,002.25 coating for the EMS building with a 20‑year warranty.
