Spring Green trustees approve consent agenda, proclamation and 2027 maintenance contract

Village President Robin Reid called the Village of Spring Green Board of Trustees to order at 7 p.m. on June 10, 2026. Trustees approved the minutes of the May 27 meeting and the agenda before moving on to a multi-item consent agenda.
The board approved the consent agenda on a motion by Trustee Jeannie McCarville that included the financial report, disbursements, coin machine permits for Cardinal AG and River Valley High School, numerous Class A and B alcohol licenses, cigarette licenses and multiple operator licenses for businesses across Spring Green. The consent agenda also included a mobile food vending renewal for Jose’s Authentic Mexican Restaurant. The consent motion was seconded and carried on a voice vote.
Trustees also approved a proclamation requested by APT recognizing Sarah Day after a motion by Trustee Deb Miller and second by Trustee Jeannie McCarville. The board approved a 2027 maintenance assessment contract between Kleven Property Assessment and the Village of Spring Green on a motion by Trustee Damian Barta, seconded by Trustee Hope Winship; that motion also carried on a voice vote.
During old-business discussion, staff member Frank Glynn reported that adverse weather had prevented additional yard work at 433 W. Madison St. and that the house was "half empty." President Reid said the Village Attorney will attend the next meeting to discuss options; the board took no formal action on the matter.
No members of the public spoke during general public comment. Trustee Jean-Claude Bédard moved to adjourn at 7:11 p.m.; Trustee Deb Miller seconded and the motion carried by voice vote.
The board’s approvals at this short meeting were by voice vote; specific roll-call tallies were not recorded in the minutes.
