The motion carried on a roll-call vote: Jean-Claude Bédard, David Saperstein, Hope Winship, Damian Barta, Jeannie McCarville, Deb Miller and Robin Reid voted aye (7–0).
The board reconvened in open session at 8:27 p.m. on a motion by Trustee Miller, seconded by Trustee Winship. In open session the board discussed guidance from Village Attorney Eric Hagen related to the abatement at 433 W. Madison Street; the minutes record that no action was taken on the matter. The meeting adjourned at 8:28 p.m. on a motion by Trustee Bédard, seconded by Trustee Saperstein.
