Appalachian Tree Care donates injections for 15 hemlocks; treatment scheduled

"Treatment will take place on Tuesday," the member said.
Committee members clarified that donated labor and equipment will cover the injections for the identified trees. The donor arrangement reduces immediate out-of-pocket costs for the town’s hemlock program and allows the committee to treat trees considered at higher risk. Members asked for the list of treated trees and confirmation of ongoing monitoring after injections.
Because the session was informational, members did not vote on funding; they noted the donated services and planned to follow up with a brief report at the next convening.
