The Spring Lake Heights Borough Council on March 3 approved a collective bargaining agreement with the Spring Lake Heights Employees Association and adopted routine consent resolutions, while making an outdoor music permit for the Spring Lake Golf Club contingent on continued compliance with noise-monitoring conditions.
Resolution R2025-71 authorizes execution of the collective bargaining agreement with the borough employees association; the motion carried on a unanimous roll call vote (Leonard Capristo, John Casagrande, Michele Degnan-Spang, William Graetz, Sara King and Christopher Willms recorded as aye). The meeting minutes record no public opposition to the agreement.
The council also approved consent agenda items R2025-68 (release of designated escrow deposits) and R2025-69 (authorization for the borough administrator to execute a contract with Dynamic Testing). During consideration of R2025-70, the outdoor music permit for the Spring Lake Golf Club, Borough Administrator John Barrett introduced Robert Anen, the club manager. Anen said the club monitors sound levels at permitted events, has adjusted speaker locations and will continue to work on the situation. Mayor Christopher Campion stated the permit is contingent on continued compliance by the club.
The council approved payment of the itemized bills list (R2025-72) and adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
