Public services complex nears completion; solar PV systems online and old building demolished

David described the site layout and said portions of the combined fleet/facilities/sanitation building are occupied and operational, lifts have been installed and are in use, and the fleet building is generating approximately 50 kilowatt‑hours while the administration building produces about 15 kWh and the water distribution building about 10 kWh (snapshots from the monitoring app presented to the board).
Staff also showed photos from demolition of the former Public Works building and said most exterior site work on the equipment storage building is complete; interior electrical and garage door installation are in final stages.
No motions were required for the report; the board thanked staff and noted plans for a site tour during the upcoming retreat.
Why this matters: the new complex consolidates fleet, facilities and sanitation operations into modern facilities, will reduce maintenance inefficiencies and add local renewable energy generation that offsets operational loads.
