He noted the board has supported covering AP exam fees for nearly two decades and that AP Scholars will be identified within the next month.
The superintendent also discussed a reworked strategic plan from the BEST committee and proposed providing the board a short presentation plus a two‑page handout at the next meeting. Trustees requested a brief presentation and the two‑page format.
The superintendent said he will present the condensed plan at an upcoming meeting and staff will correct a discrepancy in the published August meeting date noted during board business.
The meeting moved on to final business and adjourned after a roll call vote.
