Board members agreed that children’s books should be placed in the lower (closed) portion of the structure and that other books should occupy the upper shelves. Jeremy Paul suggested locating an indoor Free Library near the Welcome Desk to increase visibility and accessibility and proposed planning an additional outdoor Free Library for wider community access.
The board also recognized volunteers and staff who helped install the structure; Chair Gerri Luke thanked Stephen Luber for his assistance. The Free Library was presented as part of routine facility updates, and the board did not record a formal vote on placement during this meeting.
