Kittery conservation commission sets May 9 volunteer work day for trail, footbridge repairs

Nanci Lovett is coordinating a site walk at Rogers Park to identify materials needed for the planned footbridge repairs. Commissioners also reviewed a proposal to recruit volunteers to install new signage highlighting park trails and locations of historic significance; signage work was described as a likely next step after the spring work day.
The meeting adjourned after a motion to adjourn was proposed by MaryAlice LaPoint and seconded by Joann Kern; the minutes record the motion as carried 3-0-0. No formal votes on project funding or contracts were recorded at the meeting.
