Kittery commission reviews trail upgrades, signage and a Roger’s Park rezoning plan

Members agreed to evaluate whether additional bridging is necessary to keep the trail safe while limiting environmental impact. The commission also discussed scheduling a Roger Park Day of Service, likely in July or August, and a possible rezoning of Roger’s Park from its current zone to a Conservation Zone; Mary Alice said she will submit a simple rezone request.
Lois reported that items from the last Planning Board meeting raised no concerns for the conservation commission. The commission confirmed it will follow up with a walkthrough to schedule final bridge repairs and to finish the short remaining portion of re-blazing for KTF.
