The Town of Newburgh Planning Board convened its 2026 reorganizational meeting on Jan. 15 and on unanimous roll call reappointed the board’s consulting team, named a vice chair and set the board’s meeting schedule for the year.
Chair John P. Ewasutyn called the roll, and the board reappointed Dominic Cordisco of Drake Loeb PLLC as Planning Board attorney; Pat Hines of MHE Engineering as consulting engineer; Ken Wersted of Creighton Manning as traffic consultant; Karen Arnet as landscape architectural consultant; Douglas Fishman as telecommunications/RF consultant; and Victoria Chumas Arias as court stenographer. All motions passed on unanimous voice and roll call votes.
During the reorganization, the board also confirmed Kenneth Mennerich as vice chairman and approved the board meeting dates and the consultants’ routine monthly work session schedule for 2026. The chair noted the schedule had been checked by staff and one minor correction previously identified by Jim Campbell was addressed.
The meeting moved on to regular agenda items after the reappointments and scheduling decisions; the time of the close of the reorganization segment was recorded at 7:04 p.m.
