The Town of Millston board approved routine items on its March 11 agenda: members carried a motion to approve minutes from Feb. 11, 2026, and accepted the clerk's and treasurer's reports. The clerk recorded vouchers/checks numbered 18567 through 18588 plus 17 electronic funds transfers totaling $206,539.46.
Treasurer Sue Marcou reported a checking account balance of $442,763.40 as of Feb. 28, 2026. The board also addressed a letter from SFB about activity in the equipment savings account and moved to transfer preapproved 2026 budgeted monies into that savings account to satisfy the request; the treasurer's report (including that transfer) was moved, seconded and carried.
The board reviewed and signed mail and vouchers, received a roads report read by Chairman Mike Yahn summarizing David's report, and then adjourned at 7:25 p.m. The annual town meeting is set for April 21, 2026 at 6:30 p.m., with the regular board meeting to follow.
