At the Sept. 10 meeting Trustee Nikki Draper reported that she is working on a Cunningham grant application to purchase fitness equipment for all ages and will gather warranty information for recently purchased park equipment.
Chairperson Dan Homes, reporting for the pet committee, said dog-waste stations for both parks and the ball field have been received. Maintenance lead Nick Sanders reported on rock for the ball-field parking lot and on recent ball-field electrical repairs and an Oak Street leak. Homes moved to approve payment for the repair bill; Trustee Turnwall seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Separately, the board approved a recommended powerwasher purchase (motion by Draper, seconded by Pierce). Trustees also discussed logistics for a 'text my gov' program and maintenance scheduling for the ball field.
