The report approved on a motion by Trustee Turnwall and seconded by Trustee Pierce included payroll of $19,708.84; a Jones Bank bond payment of $21,852.50; a $27,482.50 equipment purchase from Crouch Recreation charged to the general fund; Sargent Drilling charges of $13,364.00 to the operations and maintenance account; and routine utility and testing charges in the sewer and O&M funds. Other items included a $744.00 Nebraska Public Health water-testing charge and a $6576.00 insurance payment to Jones Bank. Library fund charges included a $500 Overdrive subscription and $2,042.16 in Amazon purchases tied to grant funding.
Board members recorded the vote as YEA: All on the motion to approve claims. The approval clears the listed payments for processing and preserves the current staffing payroll and routine operating expenditures.
The board did not alter tax or bond terms at the meeting; the claims approval was a routine assurance that vendors and payroll will be paid. The board adjourned at 7:46 p.m.
