Clarks Village trustees approve consent agenda and OK downtown closure for Bean Days

Chairman Donn Glynn convened the meeting at 7:04 p.m. and recorded a quorum: Trustees Dyrek Zoucha, Chris Langley and James Parsons joined Glynn; Trustee Dylan Drummond was absent. The board certified compliance with Open Meeting Laws before proceeding.
In the meeting’s main procedural action, Trustee Dyrek Zoucha moved to approve the consent agenda, which included minutes from the June 11 meeting, a $1,500 transfer from Sales Tax to the NPAIT Water Resin Reserve Fund, approval of payroll and the treasurer’s report. The consent package listed payroll for May of $15,251.79, payroll taxes/sales tax of $5,871.53, and vendor warrants including a $19,750.00 payment to Thomas Construction. Trustee Chris Langley seconded the motion and the roll-call vote was 4-0 in favor.
Separately, the board approved a street-closure request for Bean Days, to close the downtown stretch of Amity Street (a block east and west) for the event on Sept. 13. Trustee Chris Langley moved the closure and Trustee James Parsons seconded; the vote was 4-0.
The board also approved the claims presented and the treasurer’s report as part of the consent items. No public comment was recorded at the meeting.
The board set its next regular meetings for July 23 and Aug. 13 at 7 p.m.
