Donna Dunlap asked to withdraw her Dunlap & Dunlap Lot Line Revision application during the Planning Commission’s Jan. 7 meeting. Solicitor Ryan Thomas told the board that applicants may withdraw, and he described the DEP "non-buildable" waiver language on the plan as procedural: "If you want it pulled, you can pull it but the 'non-buildable' language is more of procedural language that has to be on there because it is part of our Standard Operating Procedures," Thomas said.
Township Engineer Doug Regola explained the practical effect: if the lot tests suitable for on‑lot sewage, the lot would be considered buildable; otherwise the non‑buildable note remains. "You either have to show that it is suitable for on‑lot sewage or you need the non‑buildable language," Regola said. The Commission accepted the application as complete and then voted to table the review after Ms. Dunlap chose not to proceed at the meeting; members noted that withdrawn applications must be resubmitted with fees if the applicant later wishes to pursue the plan.
The Commission’s action preserves the applicant’s ability to return to the queue if she formally keeps the application active; withdrawing would require reapplication and payment of fees. The board recorded the tabling motion as unanimous.
