Twin Lakes HOA sets summer events, annual meeting and election schedule

At its June 17 meeting the Twin Lakes HOA board reviewed and confirmed the community events calendar and the timeline for the annual meeting and upcoming elections.
Key dates the board discussed and recorded in the minutes include an HOA barbecue on July 11, 2026 (planning anticipates roughly 400 guests); a garage sale on July 24–25; and the annual meeting on Sept. 16, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at Twin Lakes Golf & Country Club. The holiday light contest judging is scheduled for Dec. 18–21.
On elections and administration the board noted the budget must be approved at the July board meeting (July 15, 2026), that board interviews are scheduled for July 16, and that the annual notice will be mailed by Aug. 14. Board members with expiring terms noted in the minutes are Tom Brunner, Greg Glazner and Tim Walls.
William Herbert, speaking on strategic planning, said the board is considering an additional membership survey and other events to improve member engagement and noted he is managing updates to the HOA Facebook page; he also asked for clarity on verifying whether Facebook membership requests are from actual residents or homeowners.
The minutes do not record contentious debate over event plans or election procedures; planning was described as ongoing and informational.
