Rockwall council reappoints members to Architectural Review Board and names Charter Review Board slate

After recessing into executive session, the Rockwall City Council returned Sept. 3 and approved a series of appointments to local boards.
Council member Thomas moved to reappoint Kevin Haddawi and Wes Dalton to the Architectural Review Board and to appoint Christy Mace to fill a citizen vacancy; Thomas also proposed reappointing Robert/Mark Angus (name in record unclear). The motion was seconded and the council approved the ARB appointments unanimously.
The council then moved and unanimously approved a slate of 10 appointees to the Charter Review Board: Robert Cottey, Benny Daniels, Kevin Fowler, John Hohenshell, Jim Pruitt, Nell Wilborn, Todd White, Mike Townsend, Dale Cherry and Derek Deckard. Councilmembers thanked those appointed for agreeing to serve.
These actions fill seats on advisory boards and begin the Charter Review Board’s work, which will involve reviewing the city charter and recommending any changes or process updates to the council at a later date.
