Pasadena plans July resurfacing and ADA work around Rose Bowl; stadium access to remain open

The City of Pasadena said it will carry out its FY26 annual street resurfacing and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements project in the Rose Bowl and Brookside Park area from July 20 through July 31.
Officials said the work will affect portions of Linda Vista Avenue, Washington Boulevard, Parkview Avenue, Yoakam Street, Rosemont Avenue, 2nd Street and Arroyo Boulevard. The project includes removal and reconstruction of damaged concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, driveway aprons and cross gutters, as well as other quality-of-life improvements.
The bulletin warned residents and motorists that traffic detours and temporary lane closures are expected during construction and that changeable message boards will be posted one week before work begins with up-to-date information. The report said access to the Rose Bowl Stadium, Brookside Golf Course, Rose Bowl Aquatic Center and Kidspace will remain open throughout construction.
