Fulton County commissioners approve appropriations transfers, reappointments and a pest-control contract

The most consequential fiscal action was Resolution 2026-447, which authorized a $2,782 increase in appropriations for office equipment maintenance and transfers among several accounts tied to the Ottokee Waterline and Children Services. The approved transfers included $2,000 moved out of Other Expenses (Ottokee Waterline) and $1,000 to equipment and $3,000 to contract services for the Ottokee Waterline project, and a $100,000 transfer from a Shared PA Costs line to Other Expenses within Children Services. The motion was made by Commissioner R.J. Lumbrezer and seconded by Commissioner Joe Short; the vote carried 2-0.
The board also re-appointed Kerri Weir and Robin Shepherd to two-year terms (July 2026–2028) on the Fulton County Ohio Children’s Trust Fund Regional Prevention Council under Resolution 2026-448. The reappointments were approved unanimously among attending members.
Under Resolution 2026-449 the commissioners approved contract 2026-62 with Rose Pest Control for seasonal exterior perimeter treatment at the Fulton County Senior Center. The resolution states the agreement was negotiated for that specific service and was approved by the board 2-0.
