College Park mobilizes code enforcement and county partners to address Old Town rodent outbreak

The presenter said the city will pursue meetings with property owners and managers and use county resources where appropriate, but that response is a work in progress.
The staff member framed the effort as multi-departmental: code enforcement and animal services will address immediate attractants while public services coordinate with county partners to develop longer-term mitigation steps. The meeting closed without a formal vote; staff said they will continue outreach and provide updates at future public‑safety meetings.
