San Antonio council highlights Texas Space Summit set for Sept. 21–23; Chamber, research institutes to participate

Jeff Webb, identified as president of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, said the event is intended to be international in scope and could draw about 2,000 attendees.
Speakers said the summit will highlight the city’s supplier base and workforce development opportunities, and that the event has already begun accepting sponsors and registrations via a summit website. Officials described the summit as part of a broader effort to position San Antonio as a hub for space-related economic development and to strengthen collaboration with universities and the military.
The announcement included an invitation for business and community leaders to participate; councilmembers thanked the Chamber and local organizers for leading the effort.
