On July 14 the Scott County Board of Supervisors reviewed several administrative and service items on its agenda, including an election-services agreement, an Assisted Outpatient Treatment services contract, HR staffing and pay adjustments, financial-policy updates, and two liquor-license renewals.
County Auditor Kerri Tompkins reviewed a proposed one-year renewal of an Election Systems & Software (ES&S) agreement for $51,229.33. Community Services Director Lori Elam reviewed an Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) program contract with the Iowa Primary Care Association (IPCA) to fund Scott County’s AOT services for $148,462.00 and described a plan to identify 15 individuals to begin services with a treatment team.
Human Resources Director Vanessa Wierman reviewed a one-week over-hire of a Risk Manager to allow training and transition for the incoming staff member and a salary-structure adjustment proposal for Deputy Lieutenants to align their pay as a percentage of the Sheriff’s salary. Director of Budget and Administrative Services David Farmer reviewed the county’s continuing disclosure requirements for tax-exempt bonds and presented several financial-policy updates (Policy 13 Tax Compliance; HR Policy 20 T; General Policies 10, 11, 13, 26 and 33).
County Administrator Mahesh Sharma reviewed two liquor-license renewals: Dollar General #30307 (Class B retail) at 13932 110th Avenue, Davenport, and Pride of the Wapsi (Special Class B native retail wine) at 14600 305th Street, Long Grove.
