He described collecting the flags and said the VFW and his troop would help retire flags gathered in the box. Warren said he expects collection activities to continue through April and that he would like to install the box in early April.
Council members expressed support for the project. On a motion moved by the meeting chair (identified in the transcript as S1) and seconded by the city manager (S4), the council voted by roll call to allow Warren and his partners to construct and install the flag drop-off box at Milahia/Milani Gardens; the motion passed unanimously.
