Diamondhead City Council adopts easement abandonments and approves consent agenda

The council then approved Resolution 2026004 to abandon a similar easement between Lot 16 and Lot 17 (Unit 9, Block 2; 10456 Halawa Place). Both measures were moved, seconded and passed by roll-call vote.
City officials also approved the consent agenda items 4 through 9a after the mayor moved to add 9a earlier in the meeting; the added item authorizes travel for the mayor, council, city manager and city attorney to a Gulf Coast legislative reception in Jackson and the Midwinter MML legislative conference in January 2026. City Manager (name not provided) said the travel item was added to permit attendance at the January events.
Council approved the docket of claims DKT 233406 through DKT 233447 in the amount of $563,923.39.
