The Warrick County Solid Waste Management District board on July 16 unanimously approved the June meeting minutes, authorized the payment of $177,643.29 in monthly claims and adopted Salary Resolution 202601, which adjusts the pay for an assistant processing‑center position.
Chair (speaker 2) opened the noon meeting, and the board moved to approve the prior month's minutes without amendment. Controller (speaker 5) then presented the claims list and said total claims for the period were $177,643.29; a board member moved to approve the properly documented claims and the motion carried. Controller (speaker 5) reported the district ended June with $4,633,430.69 in the fund balance.
Controller (speaker 5) also described a proposed pay adjustment for a processing‑center role, saying the district is down one person in that unit and asking that the board align the replacement's pay to what it would have been in January while applying a 3% increase rather than the larger premium previously approved. Counsel (speaker 1) and board members clarified which maintenance duties would remain with the position. A motion to approve Salary Resolution 202601 passed unanimously.
The board recorded no public comments at the start of the meeting. The board asked staff to return with any necessary supporting documentation for future personnel or contract actions.
