Galesville Park Commission elects chair, updates reservation ordinance and approves easement near Horse Shoe Park

Commissioner Linda Skwierawski moved to approve the minutes from the March 20, 2025 meeting; Kelly Kreger seconded and the motion carried.
On a slate of miscellaneous action items, the Commission elected Diane Redsten chairperson on a motion by Linda Skwierawski, seconded by Rob Grover; the minutes record the election as unanimous. In the same series of motions the Commission elected Kelly Kreger secretary on a motion by Linda Skwierawski, seconded by Rob Grover; that election was also recorded as unanimous.
The Commission voted to amend ordinance Sec. 12-1-6(b)(d)(e) (Reservation of Park Space) after Diane Redsten moved the amendment and Rob Grover seconded; the motion carried. The minutes do not specify the precise textual changes to the ordinance beyond stating that the amendment was “as presented.”
