The Clifton Town Council on Dec. 5 approved several use permits recommended by the Planning Commission, endorsing detailed operating conditions and parking allocations recorded in the Planning Commission’s Nov. 28 report.
The Council accepted a recommendation to grant a use permit for Dancing Tree Physical Therapy & Wellness, LLC, authorizing a 180-square-foot commercial/office space (Space 2M) for physical therapy by appointment only, with one employee on site and allocation of one parking space. The Planning Commission specified hours as Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
The Council also approved a use permit for Bliss Consulting, LLC (Space 8M; 180 square feet) for life coaching/personal development/sound healing with one employee on site and one parking space; the Planning Commission noted hours as daily 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Fullerton & Knowles, PC, jointly operating with Summit Real Estate, was approved for combined office space totaling 704 square feet (multiple unit spaces), up to three employees on site and three parking spaces.
For the Clifton Café, LLC, the Council approved a use-permit application solely authorizing a change in ownership at 7144 Main Street; the Planning Commission recommended approval on the same terms and conditions as the prior special use permit dated May 7, 2019, with no operational changes aside from ownership.
The Planning Commission report, provided at the meeting, contains the precise unit numbers, square footage, employee and parking allocations that the Council incorporated by reference. Each recommendation was accepted by the Council (motions recorded in the minutes as approved).
