At its July 13, 2026 meeting, the USD 464 Board of Education approved the meeting agenda and consent items by unanimous voice votes and approved an additional warrant list as Action 5.1. Each recorded vote on those items is recorded in the transcript as carried 6-0.
Chair opened the meeting and asked for a motion to approve the agenda; the motion was moved, seconded and recorded as "Motion carries 6 0." Later the consent agenda was moved and carried 6-0. For Action 5.1 (approval of the additional warrant list) the board also moved, seconded and carried the motion 6-0.
Chair introduced Action 5.2, the KESB June policy updates, and moved to approve them as presented; a second was recorded in the public minutes, but the transcript does not include a voice vote or tally on that motion.
The board then moved into executive session twice to discuss non-elected personnel matters and to include Dr. Poyser and Ms. Phillips. The first motion sent the board into executive session for 20 minutes and carried 6-0; after a break, the board returned to executive session for an additional 15 minutes and again recorded a 6-0 vote. Chair reported upon reconvening that there were "no possible actions coming from executive session." The board then adjourned.
