He highlighted a recent initiative to stage "go bags" for every classroom and common space to support emergency response and preparedness. District staff also said they are pursuing a follow-up assessment with Lockout USA to evaluate stadium and field areas that were not part of the first-round safety review.
The board later approved a revised Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) during the same meeting. Board members said they continue to monitor safety needs and will coordinate follow-up work through district operations and administrators.
The minutes record no public comments on safety during the public-comment period. The board will consider implementation details from the Trane Technologies assessment and Lockout USA recommendations as those reviews proceed.
