The Village of Plover Plan Commission approved a site plan review June 29 for an expansion of Plover Pine Village Mobile Home Community at 2501 Forest Drive.
Adam DeKleyn, Community Development Department staff, presented the site plan and highlighted a proposed private recreational area. DeKleyn told the commission that the expansion and improvements meet the requirements of §550-40 (mobile home park requirements) and recommended approval subject to conditions. The conditions noted in the staff report include installation of new lot and block number signage to assist EMS and fire services, and a requirement that the mobile home community be kept free of junk, debris and unregistered, abandoned or inoperable vehicles. Staff also noted that the park has reached or will reach maximum density and that no further expansion would be permitted in the future.
Representatives from Point of Beginning and Osprey Management attended to answer questions. Commissioner Chris Shulfer moved to approve the site plan; Commissioner Steve Worzella seconded and the motion carried. The minutes do not include a roll-call tally in the transcript.
