The Commission proposed adding a condition to the Order of Conditions requiring the applicant to obtain the Commission’s consent to proceed after phase‑one wood‑chip removal. Commission members said they were concerned that a large quantity of wood chips could alter the site’s water‑buffering characteristics and asked for either a greater density of restored vegetation and trees or a written justification if denser plantings are not feasible; the applicant consented to the proposed procedural change and agreed to provide a response at the May 18 continuance. Member Joe Cantalini moved to continue the hearing to May 18 at 6:00 PM; Member Jim Murphy seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The Commission also approved the minutes of its April 13, 2026 meeting (motion by Joe Cantalini; second by James Coletta) and voted to approve the special conditions for the Order of Conditions for 28 Millbrook Drive (motion by Joe Cantalini; second by Jim Murphy), both motions passing unanimously.
The Commission scheduled its next meeting for May 18, 2026 at 6:00 PM and adjourned at 7:00 PM.
