Franklin board names legal counsel, bank depositories and newspaper of record for 2026

The board also approved the Account Agreement and Public Entity Authorization Resolution for Cornerstone Bank accounts and the Resolution of Association or Organization for South Central State Bank accounts as completed, noting there was no change in office seats that would require amendment.
The Franklin County Chronicle was approved as the district's newspaper of record for 2026 (motion by Erica Dorn, seconded by Derek Fouts). All motions passed and were recorded in the minutes. These approvals are routine fiscal and public-notice arrangements that the board reviews annually.
