Mercer council approves routine minutes and pays city bills
Summary
At its Dec. 11 meeting, Mercer officials accepted corrected minutes for Sept. 11 and Nov. 13, 2025, and approved bills for payment by roll-call vote; motions for acceptance and payment were moved and seconded, and all motions carried.
Mayor Thomsen called the Mercer meeting to order at 7 p.m. Dec. 11 and presented minutes for approval. After a few corrections, Council Member Erika Lorenz moved to accept the Nov. 13, 2025 minutes with corrections; Council Member Gary Volochenko seconded and the motion carried with all voting Aye.
Mayor Thomsen then read the Sept. 11, 2025 minutes. Council Member Dan Gardiner moved to accept those minutes; Council Member Erika Lorenz seconded and the motion carried with all voting Aye.
Later in the meeting Mayor Thomsen presented bills for payment. Council Member Erika Lorenz moved to approve the bills and Council Member Gary Volochenko seconded. A roll-call vote recorded Council Member Dan Gardiner Aye, Council Member Gary Volochenko Aye and Council Member Erika Lorenz Aye; the motion carried.
Council Member Gary Volochenko moved to adjourn at 8:20 p.m.; Council Member Erika Lorenz seconded and the meeting adjourned.
