Pastor Bethany Abbott of the Free Methodist Church announced that a local food pantry will open in April at Ambia Methodist Church and will operate on the first and third Saturdays of each month from noon to 3 p.m.; she provided contact information through the church for residents in need.
Rotarian Debbie Wesley announced a free‑will donation sausage gravy breakfast Saturday from 8–11 a.m. with proceeds to support the club's scholarship program.
