Boswell Town Council on March 11 approved the minutes of its Feb. 11 meeting, authorized payment vouchers totaling $169,887.62 and agreed to maintenance and minor facility purchases for the volunteer fire department.
Councilman Jake Foster moved to approve the Feb. 11 minutes; Councilman Kylee Senesac seconded the motion and the council adopted it, the clerk reported. The meeting record shows the council later approved accounts‑payable vouchers totaling $169,887.62.
The council also agreed to maintenance work on the department’s pumper and the purchase of metal doors for the firehouse apparatus bay. Fire Department member Kyle Brost told the council the department planned an April 5 pancake and sausage breakfast (free‑will donation) to help support local needs; the council unanimously agreed to the maintenance and door purchases.
Clerk‑Treasurer Tracy Wortley announced townwide events and schedules including a townwide garage sale on May 31, curbside garbage clean‑up on June 7 and brush pickup beginning March 31 (brush only, no leaves). The council set its next meeting for Tuesday, April 8, 2025, and scheduled a hearing on disconnects.
