The council approved several routine administrative items during the Oct. 14 meeting.
Zoning Administrator and Deputy Clerk Jacob Holcomb explained a proposed Application for Administrative Subdivisions, noting the city had not used that section of the zoning ordinance before and that two upcoming projects would require the process. Holcomb said he reviewed fees in other communities and proposed a $100 application fee to cover documentation and filing costs; the council approved the application and fee unanimously.
Council also approved the use of fireworks at the Cobblestone Event Center for the Safranek/Uhling wedding on Nov. 15, 2025 (approximate fireworks window 9:50–10:00 p.m.), to be facilitated by Josh Page. Council unanimously approved moving the first November council meeting to Monday, Nov. 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., because of Veterans Day activities.
No public comments were recorded on these items.
