Superintendent Troy Ross told the Fairview Area School District board on Dec. 8 that an open teaching position is currently posted in the newspaper and that the district website needs to be updated to reflect that posting. Ross also asked about the status of the Business Manager position; the transcript records that "COOR is willing to help until the position is filled." The transcript does not define COOR or provide details about the expected duration or terms of that assistance.
Principal Jacob Kauffman reported results of the Mio/Fairview food‑drive competition, saying Fairview donated more than 1,900 items while Mio donated about 1,000, for a combined reported total of approximately 3,000 items.
