Bulverde council authorizes legal response in Turner case and appoints new parks board member

After returning from executive session, the Bulverde City Council took two formal actions in open session.
On the first action, council moved to authorize the city’s legal counsel to prepare and file a response in case C2026‑0764E, Turner v. City of Bulverde. The motion carried unanimously.
On the second action, council moved to appoint Mrs. Canada to fill the vacancy for Place 3 on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board; the appointment was approved by voice vote and the appointee’s term will run until June 2028 as recorded in the meeting.
