Treasurer reports net loss; council approves warrants and financial report

Marshall Jones, the city treasurer, reported at the April 22 meeting that Woodland Hills is showing a net loss for the reporting period, which he attributed to payroll and attorney fees.
After the report, Commissioner Tim Horton moved to approve the financial report and Commissioner Heather DeVillier seconded; the council voted unanimously to accept the report. Earlier in the meeting the council approved warrants after Jones read them, with Commissioner Heather DeVillier moving for approval and Commissioner Angel Gillenwater seconding.
Receipts presented to the treasurer were not finalized because required forms were missing; Jones said the receipts will be presented at the next meeting after the necessary paperwork is submitted. No additional budget allocations or line-item changes were recorded at the meeting.
