During its July 1 meeting the Richardson County Board of Commissioners took several routine but formal actions. The board adopted Resolution 2026-2027-1 to cancel a check that was issued in error (motion by Chairman John Caverzagie; roll-call approval recorded). The board approved an agreement with Region 5 Systems to provide EPC services to Richardson County from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027; that motion was made by Caverzagie, seconded by Karas, and approved by roll call.
The board also approved a request from Sixpence to use the courthouse lawn for an event on July 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and it approved payment of the claims submitted at the meeting. The claims listed in the minutes show a General Fund total of $71,563.93 and a Road & Bridge Fund total of $29,842.89, combining to $101,406.82. The minutes note the claims list is available for public inspection at the County Clerk's office.
Following approval of claims, the board adjourned at 10:41 a.m.; its next regular meeting is scheduled for July 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioner's Meeting Room at the courthouse in Falls City.
