Mayor Patricia Williams framed the repair as a public-safety priority. The board did not record any abstentions or conditions on the contract at the meeting.
The motion follows the finance report listing the town’s bank balances and recent transfers; the replacement will be funded from the water/sewer or general fund accounts as appropriate under town procedures. The board adjourned at 7:54 p.m.
