The Town of Winter Harbor selectmen approved several routine financial and administrative items at their July 28, 2025 meeting at the Town Office.
The board approved the July 14, 2025 meeting minutes with a change to the accounts payable warrant number. The minutes record the motion as "Approved 2-0." The board also approved Warrants #4 (dated July 22, 2025) and #5 (dated July 25, 2025), each recorded as "Approved 2-0." The Treasurer's Report dated July 25, 2025 was approved by the board, likewise recorded "Approved 2-0." The Tax Collector's Report dated July 25, 2025 was approved; the minutes list taxes receivable and collection percentages for FY25 and FY24.
The minutes list account balances and investments: a Trio-General Ledger balance of $1,051,871.52 (7/25/2025); a six-month certificate of deposit of $105,382.87; and investments in bonds valued at $3,499,504.31 (5/31/2025) and $3,522,980.90 (6/30/2025). Payroll and accounts payable totals recorded in the minutes were Town P/R #4 $14,272.70 and Town A/P #5 $368,468.83, for a total of $382,741.53.
Under administrative actions the minutes record that the personnel policy was signed. The meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
